I forgot my password, what do I do?
If you have forgotten your password, click on the "Forgot your password" link on the login page and follow the prompts.
You will be asked to enter the email address that you used to signup. Once you have completed the form, the system will send you an email containing verification code and link. You can click on the link to follow the prompts with verification code provided which will prompt you enter a new password. Save your new password and then login with the newly set password.
Is it safe to pay via Paypal?
Your paypal payments are processed with Paypal, GAQ does not have access to your personal details, you are redirected to the Paypal site to complete your payment. Once your payment has been completed and verified by Paypal we will be sent a confirmation code which we will use to activate your subscription.
Is it safe to pay via credit card?
Your credit card payments are processed with Square Up, GAQ does not have access to your personal details. Your credit card details are sent over a secure connection to Square Up for processing the payment. Once your payment has been verified as successful by Square Up they will confirm payment completion which we will use to activate your subscription.
What types of payment do you accept?
We currently accept payments via PayPal and Credit Card for both events and membership subscriptions.
What fees and taxes will I be charged?
We do not charge any taxes for events or membership subscriptions.
Generally we do not charge any fees for online payments either, however some events may incur online payments fees if the ticket cost has been kept to a minimal charge.

Membership FAQs
How do I become a member?
Click signup and select the appropriate membership subscription and complete the registration form.
How do I pay for my membership?
There are 2 methods of paying for your membership.
- We accept Paypal or Credit Card payments and this is the preferred method as this will confirm your payment and activate your subscription upon payment confirmation of the online payment.
- Credit Card payments are processed via Square Up which accepts various types of credit cards and is secure.
- If you are unable to pay via Paypal we accept offline payments. If you select this method your subscription will remain as pending until your payment has been received by the treasurer either by bank transfer or cheque. Bank and Payee details will be sent to the email address used during registration
How do I renew my membership subscription?
To renew your membership subscription you will need to login and navigate to your member profile.
Once logged in click on the "My Subscription" tab, under this you will see the "Process Renew" button, click this, verify all fields are filled out and process your renewal.
I signed for a group plan, can I add other group members under my subscription?
Yes. When you signup for group subscriptions such as couples or family you can add your family members under your subscription so that they can also access the site as a member to register for events and receive updates on the latest GAQ activities.

My membership has expired, what do I need to do?
If your membership has expired, you will still be able to login and navigate to your profile where you will be able to process your membership renewal.
Event FAQs
Can I buy tickets offline?
Depending on the event we may have tickets available at entry however we currently do not offer offline payments for tickets via the website.
How will I get my tickets if I buy them online?
Online tickets will automatically be emailed to you once you have successfully completed an online registration and payment.
Can I show my tickets on my phone at the door or do I need to have the physical tickets with me?
Tickets can be displayed / presented on your phone provided the screen is clear enough to be scanned on a barcode scanner should this be required.
Can I put tickets on hold?
No. We currently do not offer an option to place tickets on hold and is a on a first come first serve basis depending on availability.
What should I do if I don’t receive my tickets?
Tickets are sent to you via email, if you have not received the email please check your junk mail / spam folders for emails from GAQ. If you still have not received the email please contact secretary@gaq.org.au.
Where should I park and is parking free?
Please refer to event details for any parking information should this be available for the event.
For a multi-day event, is my ticket good for either or all days?
If you have purchased a multi-day ticket then your ticket would generally be valid for all days. Should this not be the case you would be notified as part of the registration process.
Can I purchase tickets at the door/gate/entrance?
Tickets are usually available at the entrance, however it is advisable to purchase your tickets online to avoid delays and possibly missing out on any online discounts. Please refer to the specific event for more details regarding this.
The name on the ticket doesn’t match the attendee’s name. Is that okay?
While it is preferable that the name on the tickets match the person using it, this is not necessarily mandatory on most events unless it has been specified at registration.
